Among all other F&B outlets in this hotel, the open kitchen at the Café Gray is surely a show-stopper. One piece of worktop for all counters, and sleek and clean stainless steel shelving floating at the back wall with invisible support these are the elements that make the open kitchen one of a kind. Keeping the integrity and eliminating any post-fabrication on site a centerpiece classic cooking suite of 5500x1850x900mm, known to be the biggest in size imported cooking island in China, resonates with the minimal yet luxurious style of this restaurant, like the chandelier at the front foyer to the reception area, was delivered to the spot in one piece.
Creating an open and inviting cooking vibe, a high ceiling ventilator (3.5m) for the cooking exhaust was introduced to accentuate the wide openness of the restaurant to balance off the challenge of a long and narrow dining area.
A great deal of interface collaboration and the undivided passion of all parties were part of the equation of success.
